Burgers, Chips & Rings
Lovely juicy and tasty homemade burger and chips. Add bacon, some quick fried onion rings and a few chips and we have a superb lunch.

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 200 deg C. Set oven shelf to top-middle.
  2. Mix the mince, cheese, Worcestershire sauce, mixed herbs, egg, chili powder, salt and pepper all together in a bowl. Use your fingers and mice everything together well.
  3. Roll the mince into even size balls. You can decide the weight you would like the patty to be. 50g small 80g nice size 100g big or bigger ;') Roll them out into patty size of your choice. Place on plate in the fridge Remember to push a dimple into the middle of the patty in order to prevent them from puffing up.
  4. Cut the potatoes in the chunks or strips of your choice (chips). Wash them off under the water and throw them into a pot filled with water. Bring the water to boil and boil potatoes for 5 minutes. Take out, let cool and strain potatoes.
  5. Toss the potato chips in some olive oil and sprinkle with the mixed herbs.
  6. Onion rings: Cut the onions into thin rings.
  7. Mix the flour with the garlic salt and mixed herbs in a bowl
  8. Break the egg into another bowl, whisk till blended.
  9. Dip the onion rings into the flour then the egg than back into the flour and place in a clean bowl Double dip
Cooking the Meal
  1. On the stove in a pan add the 1 Tbsp of coconut oil and heat it up. Fry the bacon.
  2. When the bacon is cooked, place bacon in paper towel Add the rest of the coconut oil to the pan and heat it up.
  3. Place your burger patties onto the baking tray baste them with Lappies Braai Sauce. Add the potato chips (separate if oven is big enough) Burger in the middle and chips around the sides.
  4. Now: Place the baking tray into the oven. With the potato chips and the burger patties.
  5. Onion rings: Trow them bit for bit into the hot coconut oil and fry till crispy. Place on paper towel.
  6. Have a look at the patties and the chips. They should be in for about 8 minutes now. Turn and baste the patties, and turn the chips (shake them around a bit) Return to oven for 5-8 min
Preparing Plate
  1. Prepare your plate: Cut the bun and lightly butter. Add the lettuce
  2. Then place down prices of streaky bacon.
  3. Place down your hot patty.
  4. Add grated cheese to the top.
  5. Serve with your crispy onion rings and chips. Decorate with parsley
